ABOUT LISA

Lisa Hedien, B.Sc. (Hons) P.T. Graduated in 1998 from Physical Therapy in Aberdeen, Scotland at Robert Gordon University. She has over 10 years of diversified experience in Physical Therapy. During her career she has worked within sports organizations, participated in multidisciplinary sports medical teams. Ms Hedien is committed to increasing her knowledge and skills to further assist her patients and athletes.

  • Physical Therapist for the 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist, USA Men’s Indoor Volleyball Team in Beijing, China.
  • Member of the AVP Medical Board. Developing medical protocols within the scope of Physical Therapy.
  • Traveled with the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball organization providing medical treatments for the athletes during their out of state competitions.
  • AVP Medical Director for Manhattan Beach Open.
  • Volunteered for the FIVB (Federation of International Volleyball), in Carson, CA.
